Community Centre Amenities

Fitness Room
The Rowlett Community Centre features a 2500 sq. ft. fitness room. This room is designed to provide a user with a total body workout. Equipment includes free weights, upper and lower body weight machines, multifunctional equipment, treadmills, ellipticals and upright and recumbent bikes. The Fitness Room is available only to members and their guests 16 years and older. Youth ages 14 – 15 must be accompanied by parent/guardian.
Racquetball Courts
The Community Centre has two racquetball courts. Reservations may be made up to 3 days in advance. Patrons may obtain guaranteed court time by paying a $5/court reservation fee. Non-Reserved court time will be made available on a first come, first served basis. Members using the courts must be 16 years or older. Children ages 7 to 15 years of age may use the court when accompanied by a person 16 years or older. Courts may be reserved for one (1) hour intervals. Reservations begin on the hour. Reservation may be forfeited at 10 minutes past the hour. Racquets, racquetballs and protective eyewear are available for rental.
Aerobics Room
Spin Class, Turbo Kick, Piyo, Aerobics and other group exercise classes are offered in the RCC Aerobics room. Sign-up today!
Gymnasium
Two full sized gymnasiums are available for open play or classes as scheduled.

Child’s Play –Drop-In Playtime Program
Ages: 6 months to 6 years Instructor: Yolly Pekas & Sandy Schmidt
8:30-11:30am on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
5:00-8:00pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays
Child’s Play provides a stimulating environment for your child to explore, play and interact with other children while you enjoy the benefits of the Rowlett Community Centre. We feel that children should enjoy their experience at our facility as much as their parents! While working out or taking a class, check in at the Front Desk, and then drop your kids off at the Child’s Play room where they can enjoy a wide variety of entertainment. Our drop-in playtime program offers a clean and safe environment for your little ones to socialize, interact and most importantly, have fun. Now you can exercise without the worry or hassle of finding a dependable babysitter. Fee: $2.00/ per visit, per child or $15.00/ ten visit punch card. Please Note: Parents must remain in the Community Centre while their child is participating in the Child’s Play program and may not leave the building for any reason.
