It’s best to leave your pocket knives and pepper spray at home or in your vehicle prior to attempting to enter the court.

All persons who wish to enter the Courtroom are subject to screening prior to access being allowed . All bags, purses, briefcases, satchels, backpacks or similar items are subject to a full and thorough search.  Persons refusing such a search will be denied access to the Court and removed.

All persons entering the Court must successfully pass through a metal detector or wand type search prior to being allowed access to the Court room.

Please do not ‘joke’ about carrying weapons into Court, threatening a Judge or doing harm to the Judge or other person in the Courtroom. Such comments will be taken seriously.  Similarly, actions that are intended to intimidate any other person or staff member in the Courtroom, such as staring or glaring at other persons, will result in expulsion from the Court and possible other ramifications.

Do not approach the Judges Bench unless allowed or directed to do so, and do not lean on the Judges Bench.
