  • Dallas Children's Theater
    The Dallas Children’s Theater (DCT) web site includes information about shows and tickets, auditions, the national touring company, contributing to the DCT, contact information, and maps to the Rosewood Center for Family Arts.
  • Dallas Opera
    The Dallas Opera web site includes information about current productions, tickets, news, radio broadcasts, selected archived productions, support and volunteer opportunities, the Education Programs, and how to contact to Dallas Opera.
  • Dallas Summer Musicals
    From Dallas Summer Musicals (DSM) web site users can read about the history of the DSM, learn how to contribute, purchase tickets online, find show descriptions and an event calendar, or view information about programs and special events for children.
  • Dallas Theater Center
    The Dallas Theater Center web site provides a schedule for the current season, online ticket purchasing options, information about volunteer opportunities and events, description of education and outreach programs, and answers to frequently asked questions.

    The arts section of the Dallas Morning News GuideLive includes news and information about current onstage productions, art exhibits, and concerts. Performing and visual arts events can be searched by location and type. Tickets can be purchased from the online TicketCenter.

    The All Movie Guide (AMG) is an online database contains over 240 thousand movie titles and 1.5 million cast/crew credits. The database can be searched for names, titles, locations, technical criteria, and creators. Movies can also be browsed by genre.
  • American Film Institute
    Access AFI.com to find information about the American Film Institute, as well as AFI events and television programs, exhibitions, and education programs. Some parts of this site are available to AFI members only.
  • CinemaSpot.com
    CinemaSpot.com is a directory of online movie-related resources. This site provides access to movie reviews, showtimes, video release dates, award-winners, trivia, history, quotes, celebrity gossip, and industry resources. Use the tool bar on the left edge of the screen to select a category of resources.
  • Internet Movie Database
    The Internet Movie Database is an easy to use, comprehensive movie database that provides access to information about more than 250,000 movies and 900,000 cast and crewmembers. Users can search the database, look up movie showtimes, participate in message boards, read trivia, play games, browse the photo galleries, or watch movie trailers.
  • MetaCritic.com
    Access MetaCritic.com to find reviews for films, videos and DVDs, music, and games. MetaCritic.com combines individual review scores for an overall grade for each item.
  • Premiere Magazine
    Premieremag.com, the online component of Premier Magazine, offers movie/DVD reviews, feature articles, news, and message boards, as well as online access to Premier Magazine subscription services.
  • Roger Ebert Movie Reviews
    Available from the Chicago Sun-Times, the Roger Ebert reviews web pages provide reviews of current movies, reviews of great movies, one-minute movie reviews, and a Q & A section from the Movie Answer Man.
  • Rotten Tomatoes: Movie Reviews
    Rotten Tomatoes is an online database of movie and video reviews, with links to more than 100,000 titles and 360,000 reviews. Search for movies or browse by genre to find reviews, synopsis, cast/crew, and more. This site also offers price comparisons for DVDs, soundtracks, and video products.
  • Upcoming Movies
    Available through Yahoo! Movies, Greg’s Previews of Upcoming Movies tracks an individual film throughout its development and production, up until release. Movies can be searched by title, or browsed by title, date, genre, director, actor, screenwriter, distributor, video release, most visited, or what’s new.

  • EServer Drama Collection
    The Eserver Drama Collection provides access to full text original plays and screenplays, criticism and links. It contains both classical and modern works by over 281 writers, artists, editors, and scholars.
  • Internet Broadway Database
    The Internet Broadway Database (IBDB) is an archive of Broadway productions, with records dating back to the beginnings of New York theater up through current productions. The database can be searched for key words in the following categories: Shows, People/Organization, Theatre, or Season.
  • McCoy's Guide - Theater and Performance Studies
    Theater and Performance Studies : This web guide is maintained by Dr. Ken McCoy, Associate Professor at Stetson University. McCoy’s guide offers links (with notes) to theatre and performance related web sites. The web sites McCoy has found most helpful are listed first and the others are organized into categories.

    Playbill.com is an online magazine for theatre buffs. This site offers access to theatre news, online ticket availability, feature articles, Broadway grosses, job listings, celebrity gossip, theatre links, special membership offers, and an award database among other resources.
  • Stage Technicians
    The official web site of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, Moving Picture Technicians, Artists and Allied Crafts of the United States, Its Territories and Canada (IATSE), offers information about the history and organization of the IATSE, member services, news and events, local union directory, and publications.
  • Theater History Web Sites
