Certificate of Occupancy Checklist

In order to assure that a tenant is ready for inspection, please use the following checklist as a basic requirements list. Not all items are listed below that may be required.
-Building address posted including suite number
-Fire Extinguisher Onsite
-Repair Shop License Obtained for repair businesses such as motor vehicle, lawn mower, etc.
- Food Service Establishment Permit obtained
-Food Service Inspection completed
-Food Service Establishments must have Certified Food Service Managers licensed with the City of Rowlett
-Sign permit applied for, including drawings
-If new occupant, contact TXU Electric & Gas to set up new account
